| 1 | 27-02-16 | LAMP LIGHTENING & OATH TAKING CEREMONY | Lamp lightening and oath taking ceremony was conducted for welcoming the students Of B.Sc Nursing 1st year to the nursing profession on 27 February 2016 in the college multipurpose hall. GNM first year students also took oath the same day. The ceremony was chaired by chairman principal and all faculties of the institute. After taking oath, students their lamp around Florence Nightingale’s painting.Principal Mrs. Shobha E., Meirna, gave a speech to encourage the fresher students to practice their profession with diliqure. |
| 2 | 30-03-16 | BETI BACHAO, BETI PADAO , WORKSHOP | Beti Bachao, Beti Padao workshop was conducted on 30 march 2016 in the college auditorium . the event was chaired by chairman, principal and all faculty members of the institute. chief guest of the function was local sarpanch Mr. Kewal Singh Pathania. students of all classes took part in the speech competition and they impressed the judges with their impressive speech. the first prize was won by Ms. Kajal Pathania (B.Sc Nursing 1st year). after prize distribution, a motivating speech was given |
| 3 | 16-03-16 | SAVE THE GIRL CHILD WORKSHOP | Save the Girl Child Campaign was conducted on 16 March 2016 in Civil Hospital, Nurpur. Students from our college participated in the dame completion and won the first prize. The Health Minister of Himachal Pradesh announced a prize money of Rs. 5000/- for per students. Our studnets also shared their views regarding the ways to counter female factivide and improving the sex ratio. There was division between students and the panel regarding the disinglding sex ration and ways to improve them. |
| 4 | 24-03-16 | GNM farewell party | Farewell party of GNM (2011-2015) was conducted on college campus on 24 March 2016. It was given by GNM 3rd year students . the party was chared by the Chairman, Principal and all faculty members. It was started at 06:30 pm with prayer and lighting the lamp by Chairman and Principal. The party was conducted at 10 pm with prize distribution and giving farewell to GNM internship who were leaving the college forever. |
| 5 | 12-05-16 | INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY | On 12 May 2016 function was organized for the celetbration fo Nurses day function started with the welcome speech given by Ms. Manisha students of GNM 3rd year . After that there is lamp lightening by respected Chairman Sir Mr. B.K.Saini and Principal Shoba E Merina, Various events held in the celebration including Rangoli Competition, Fancy dress Competition, singing, dancing and speech competition. At last Prizes were given to first and Second runner ups in each competition by Chairman Sir, and Principal Mam. After prize distribution Principal Mam Shoba E Merina gave speech to encourage all students and also discussed the importance of nurses day. |
| 6 | 20.08.16 | FAREWELL PARTY | On 20 August 2016 farewell Party for outgoing batch (2012-2016) of B.Sc Nursing 3trd year was organized in kamakshi Institute of Nursing. Function was started with the welcome speech given by Kanika student of B.Sc 3rd year . After that lomap lightening was done by respected chairman Sir Mr. B.K. Saini and Chief guest Ajay Pathania. Then outgoing batch was welcomed by giving roses by B.\sc 3rd year students. Many dance items were performed by students with full enthusiasm. In between the performances games were arranged for the B.Sc 4th year on the basis of which Ms. Farewell (Yamini Mehra) Ms. Kamakshi (Neha Bharti), Ms. Eve (Ankita Nanda), Ms. Personality (Kajal Pathania) were selected. All the winners were rewarded with prizes by respected Principal mam and other teaching faculty of college. The function was enabled with speech of principal mam. |
| 7 | 15.08.16 | FAREWELL PARTY INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION | Independence day was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm in the college campus. As part of the celebration extra-curricular activities were conducted i.e. Parinting completion, essay writing completion, role play and singing competition. All the students participated with huge excitement.
